Family life, vacations, faith, adoption, Down syndrome awareness, and everything that makes the Longstreth family who we are. New here? Meet Jon — his story, his seasons, and what we’ve learned raising a child with Down syndrome.
POV Converse store didn’t see us coming — and honestly, neither did my wallet. 😂 We were out doing some spring break outlet mall shopping when we walked into the Converse store and discovered they were running a 50% off sale on almost everything in the store. Now, our kids know the rule: clearance aisle…
Thrifting in St. Petersburg was exactly the kind of spring break adventure this family needed! Me and my two favorite sidekicks — Hannah and Jon — hit some thrift stores we had never discovered before, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There is nothing quite like the thrill of the find. That…
I have exciting news — and I’m telling YOU first. StephanieCooksForACrowd.com is officially live, and I could not be more thrilled to share it with you. This little corner of the internet is going to have everything — all my recipes in an easy format you can download or print, all my cooking videos, Tuesday…
Spring break meals at the Longstreth house hit different when all seven of my people are home at the same time. My two college girls are back (they only live about a mile away, but still — having them home home is everything), the kids are out of school, and Jason is off from the…
There are moments in a mama’s life that stop you in your tracks — like when your college kids come home for spring break and all five of your babies are finally under one roof again. This is one of them. All my babies are under one roof tonight and I could not be more…

POV: You’re a cat, I’m a basket, we get each other. If that sentence makes complete sense to you, then you clearly also share your home with cats. 🐱 Dustin and Eddie arrived in the Longstreth house as tiny tabby kittens and wasted absolutely no time establishing the rules. Rule number one: every basket in…
I spy with my little eye — two kitties! If you’ve been following along here for any length of time, you already know that Dustin and Eddie run this house. They are into everything, on top of everything, and somehow always exactly where you least expect them. This little video is proof of that. Dustin…
Sourdough surprise — I was not expecting this, and I am still a little teary about it if I am being completely honest with you. Yesterday a package arrived at my door from Amazon with no return name and no return address. Just a gift. From someone in this community who wanted to cheer me…
Eddie’s feeling better — and if you’ve been following along with us, you know exactly how much those three words mean. Our sweet little tabby kitten was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) about three and a half weeks ago, and this family has been on quite a journey since then. Today’s video is a…
