I Spy With My Little Eye: TWO Kitties — Can You Find Them Both?
I spy with my little eye — two kitties! If you’ve been following along here for any length of time, you already know that Dustin and Eddie run this house. They are into everything, on top of everything, and somehow always exactly where you least expect them. This little video is proof of that. Dustin is easy — he’s right up on the back of the couch, doing his very important neighborhood watch duties and keeping an eye on the street like the little sentinel he is. But Eddie? Eddie is playing hide and seek. See that cat play tunnel on the floor in front of the couch? Look closely at one of the little windows. There he is. Just his little face, peeking out, watching everything, being absolutely Eddie about it. I spy with my little eye — two of the best kitties in the whole world. 🐱

This is just one of those little moments that makes me smile every single time I watch it. These two boys have completely taken over our home and our hearts, and honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. If you’re curious about what makes tabby cats so special, you can read all about tabby cats on Wikipedia — though honestly, Dustin and Eddie could write the whole article themselves.
Eddie has always been our little hider. He loves to tuck himself into small spaces and watch the world from a safe distance — until something catches his eye and then suddenly he is EVERYWHERE. The play tunnel has become one of his absolute favorite spots. He will crawl in there and just sit, perfectly content, occasionally peeking out one of the little windows like he’s conducting surveillance. Which, knowing Eddie, he probably is.
Dustin, on the other hand, prefers the high ground. The back of the couch is basically his throne. He sits up there and surveys his kingdom — the front yard, the street, the neighbors, the squirrels, all of it. Very serious work. Very important business. He takes it extremely seriously.
Together these two are just the most entertaining little duo. We got them as brothers and watching their personalities develop has been one of the unexpected joys of this season of life. They are so different from each other and yet absolutely inseparable, and our whole family is completely smitten.
If you want to get your own kitties a play tunnel like ours — the one Eddie has claimed as his personal headquarters — I found a similar one on Amazon that is flexible with windows and doors just like ours. You can shop cat play tunnels on Amazon and your cats will thank you. Or they won’t, because they’re cats. But they’ll use it anyway. 😂
Did you spot both kitties on the first try? Drop a comment and let me know!
