Welcome to my cookbooks for a crowd — where the hard part is already done.
I’ve been cooking for a crowd for more than thirty years. A family of seven most days, and a lot more than that when the holidays land on my house or the college kids come by after church. What I’ve learned in all that time is that the hard part was never the recipes. It’s the deciding — what to make, how much of it, and what you have to buy to pull it off.
So that’s what I put in my cookbooks. Not just the recipes, but the whole plan around them — what goes with what, how much to make, and a shopping list written the way I’d actually walk the store. The recipes are the ones my crowd asks for on repeat. The planning is the part I did for you.

“This isn’t one of those cookbooks that looks nice but ends up sitting on a shelf. It’s something you can really use.”

What’s Coming Next
There’s more coming. The one I am deepest into is Brunches, Luncheons & Tea Parties — six complete menus for the gatherings where everything has to look as good as it tastes, each one planned start to finish the way my weekly plans are. There is a holiday book taking shape behind it, full of the recipes I make when the holidays land on my house. I am not going to promise you a date I might miss, but if you want to know the minute a new one is ready, the newsletter is where I say it first.
📖 A sneak peek from the next one: Brunches, Luncheons & Tea Parties
I put one of the six menus on the website in full — a fall brunch for eight to twelve, with the food, the table, and a timeline that starts a month out. Nothing held back, and there is a printable to go with it.
The Free Meal Plan That Started It All
Before there was a cookbook, there was a plan every Saturday morning — and there still is. My Weekly Meal Plans are free, they always will be, and they’re the same thing my cookbooks do, just one week at a time. If you want to see how I plan before you buy a month of it, start there.
And if you want the whole system in one place, The Nook is my meal-planning headquarters — the free weekly plans, the build-your-own planner that writes your grocery list for you, and the way I actually think through a week of dinners.
Want next week’s plan without buying a thing?
Every Saturday morning I send my subscribers the printable version of that week’s meal plan — the plan and the grocery list, ready for the fridge — plus recipes, kitchen favorites, and whatever’s happening at the Longstreth house. Subscribers also get a standing discount code on the PDF edition of my cookbooks, and they’re the first to know when a new one is on the way.
