Sunday Dinner Apron

Description

Sunday Dinner Apron — $42, free US shipping included.

Let’s bring back Sunday dinner, y’all! I wrote that out by hand for this Sunday dinner apron, and it sits right under a Dutch oven like the one my Sunday pot roast cooks in while we’re at church. There’s nothing like walking back in the door to a house that already smells like dinner, with everybody pulling up a chair.

Sunday dinner doesn’t have to be fancy. It just has to happen at the table, with everybody there and nobody in a hurry to leave. If you need a place to start, I put four of my Sunday dinner menus, plus a free printable planner, on my Sunday dinner page. A roast in the oven before church does most of the work for you. And the leftovers are half the fun: that same pot roast turns into leftover beef stew or pot roast Philly cheesesteak sandwiches later in the week.

Pick red gingham or red stripe. Both are our brand red and cream, with the saying on a cream oval and our little utensil crock tucked underneath. The gingham is the classic picnic-table check, and the stripe is a little more farmhouse. Ties in back, one size, and long enough to actually cover you when things get messy.

It makes a sweet gift for whoever hosts Sunday dinner in your family, a new bride setting up her first kitchen, or the church friend who always brings the best dish to the potluck. It also goes right alongside my Royal Stewart plaid apron and the Stephanie Cooks For A Crowd apron if you want one for every cook in the house.

Every Sunday dinner apron is made when you order it, so give it a few days.
