Kitchen Reset After 2 Days of Real Mom Life π¬
This is my kitchen reset moment, y’all. After a couple days of real mom life β sourdough baking, cooking for a crowd, kids coming and going β my kitchen looked like a disaster zone. And honestly? I barely noticed. That’s just what real life looks like around here sometimes, and I think it’s important that you see it too.
You know what I love about a kitchen reset? That moment when everything is back in its place and you can actually breathe again. The counters are clear, the dishes are done, the floor is swept. It’s one of those small things that makes a huge difference in how the whole house feels.
Now, I’m not one of those people with a perfectly staged kitchen. You’ve seen it β the bottles on the counter, the Keurig and KitchenAid and the ice maker all lined up, the Dixie plates because we feed a crowd and I am not doing that many dishes. This is a working kitchen. A living kitchen. And sometimes that means it gets absolutely wrecked before I get around to resetting it.
The kitchen reset in this video covers the whole thing β every corner, every counter, every pile of “I’ll deal with that later.” I put it in fast forward so you can see the whole transformation without watching me load the dishwasher in real time (you’re welcome). And at the end, I’ll admit there’s one thing I still missed. You’ll know it when you see it. π
If your kitchen looks like mine did at the start of this video, just know β you’re in good company. We cook real food for real families around here, and real cooking makes a real mess. The reset is always worth it. If you want a solid daily kitchen reset routine to keep things from piling up in the first place, Clean Mama’s daily kitchen reset guide is a great place to start.
