My Passions 🍽️ Cooking for a crowd ❤️ Adoption advocacy 💛 Down syndrome awareness 🐱 Dustin & Eddie
Hi, I’m Stephanie — and if you’ve found your way here, you probably already know that feeding people is one of the greatest acts of love there is.
I’m a Florida girl, a stay-at-home mom, and the wife of Jason for 33 wonderful years. Jason is a preacher, an elder, and a professor — which means our home has always been a place where people gather. And when people gather, I cook.
We have five incredible kids — Hannah, Kira, Jonathan, Alexander, and Olivia — and between them, their friends, our church family, and whoever else happens to show up at our door, I’m usually cooking for anywhere from 7 to 13 people on any given day. Sometimes more. It’s my happy place.
Four of our five children came to us through adoption, and it is one of the greatest privileges of our lives. Our middle child Jonathan has Down syndrome, and he has taught our whole family more about joy, love, and what really matters than we could have ever imagined. Both adoption and Down syndrome awareness are causes close to my heart, and you’ll hear me talk about them here from time to time.
Oh — and we recently welcomed two new members to the family: Dustin and Eddie, our kitten brothers, who are very interested in whatever is happening in the kitchen.
This site is for my people — the ones who cook for a crowd not because they have to, but because they want to. The ones who set a big table and fill it with food and laughter and love. Whether you’re feeding a family of seven, cooking for your church potluck, or just trying to figure out how to scale up a recipe without it falling apart — you’re in the right place.
I’m so glad you’re here.
— Stephanie
