Equipment

Disposable loaf pans These are perfect for gifting banana bread. And, to be honest, they're perfect for having it at home, too!
Method Start Cooking
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease your loaf pan(s).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, eggs, and bananas using a hand mixer or stand mixer until well blended.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until the dry ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Slowly pour in the milk and mix on low until just combined.
- Pour batter into pan(s), filling each about one-third to one-half full.
- Bake at 350°F for 1 hour for a full-size or half-size loaf, or 45–60 minutes for mini loaves. Test with a toothpick — if it comes out clean, they're done.

Notes
Makes one 9x5 loaf, two half-size loaves, or 3–4 mini loaves. To double: use 6 bananas, 4 eggs, 2 cups sugar, 2 sticks butter, 4 cups flour, 1½ cups milk — fills four half-size pans perfectly.
